The Trophy Tree Story
How Did You Come up With Trophy Tree?
The Trophy Tree started as an idea from my son, at the time, 12 years old.
“After lots of prayers, dead ends, and, eventually, the right team falling into place, the best hunting trophy display, Trophy Tree, finally took root!”
He came to me and said, “Dad, I wish I had a tree in my room to hang my trophies from.” I guess he was concerned about wall space or shelf space, so a tree obviously sounded like the perfect solution.
On our next trip to the ranch, I loaded up my chainsaw and started carving away at an old, dead oak tree. What I wasn’t prepared for was the fact that, even after carving out the back of the tree, it still weighed 300 lbs.!
After quite a struggle, I got the tree loaded up and headed home. Using a couple of floor dollies, we were able to roll it into my son’s bedroom. After the family affair of standing it up, our son had his tree!
Once it was finished and his trophies were on display, my wife made the comment, ”You should start selling these things.” My initial response was, “And how do you expect me to sell a 300 lb. tree?!”
I’ve spent my adult career in manufacturing, and the more I thought about it, the more ideas began to take shape. After lots of prayers, dead ends, and, eventually, the right team falling into place, the best hunting trophy display, Trophy Tree, finally took root!

We want our Trophy Tree to display memories and ensure they last a lifetime! Each time someone looks at their Trophy Tree, we want it to take them back to the woods, the ballfield, the lake, the court, the ring or wherever their passion takes them.
